Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 2026-05-22
These terms govern your use of GetMyVisa, operated by JL Digital (Jette Lakeberg, Germany). By placing an order you accept these terms.
1. Service
GetMyVisa generates written templates — cover letters, travel itineraries, financial explanation letters, document checklists, sponsor or employer letters, and rebuttal letters — based on the information you provide via our questionnaire. The documents are produced with the help of automated text generation (AI) and delivered to your email address as PDF and DOCX files.
2. Not legal or immigration advice
GetMyVisa is not a law firm and not an immigration consultancy. The documents are templates and writing assistance only. They do not constitute legal, tax or immigration advice. Visa decisions are at the sole discretion of the embassy or consulate to which you apply. We do not guarantee a successful visa outcome, a specific processing time, or that the embassy will accept any particular document.
3. AI-generated content
Because the texts are generated by an AI model, occasional inaccuracies, generic phrasing or minor inconsistencies are possible. You are expected to read every document carefully before submission and to correct any factual error. The DOCX file is provided so you can make changes.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is true and complete. You are responsible for reviewing the generated documents, adapting them to your specific case, signing where required, and submitting them together with the additional documents required by your embassy (passport, biometric photo, insurance, bank statements, flight reservation, etc.). Submitting false information to an embassy is your sole responsibility and may carry serious consequences under the destination country's law.
5. Pricing & payment
Prices are stated in Euro and include VAT where applicable (the operator currently uses the small-business regulation under § 19 UStG; if so, VAT is not separately shown). Payment is processed by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. The package is generated immediately upon successful payment.
6. Delivery
Documents are delivered by email to the address you provided at checkout, typically within a few minutes (Essential / Standard) up to about 10 minutes (Premium). If you have not received your documents within 60 minutes, please check your spam folder and then contact us at hello@getmyvisa.pro — we'll re-send or troubleshoot.
7. Right of withdrawal (digital services)
Because the service is a digital product that is generated and delivered immediately on demand, by placing the order you expressly consent to begin generation immediately and acknowledge that your right of withdrawal lapses once the documents are delivered. See our separate Right of Withdrawal page for the full statutory text.
8. Refunds & goodwill
Because the right of withdrawal expires on delivery, refunds for completed orders are not granted by default. If something goes wrong on our side (documents never arrive, files are corrupted, wrong package generated), contact us at hello@getmyvisa.pro and we will fix the issue or refund you. We do not refund based on the outcome of your visa application — a refusal by the embassy is not a fault of our service.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence and for damages from injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damages. Liability for indirect or consequential damages — including visa refusals, missed travel, lost deposits or related costs — is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
10. Privacy
Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order.
12. Governing law & dispute resolution
German law applies, to the extent permitted for consumers (consumers retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence). The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
